I'm a creative problem solver who is skilled at creating delightful solutions that are smart, simple, and accessible while putting the user first and meeting business's needs.
My current role is the Program and Creative Director for the User Experience (UX) and Product Management Program in the Center for Communication Strategy and Design at RTI International. RTI is a global non-profit research organization that contracts with the federal government, state governments, and other non-profits.
At RTI, I lead projects from concept creation to execution while collaborating with external clients, researchers, and developers to ensure a positive and intuitive user experience. I manage projects throughout the product development life cycle ensuring high-quality deliverables that engage diverse users and are accessible to a wide audience.
I mentor and foster the growth of a team of talented individuals with roles ranging from UI designers, UX designers, accessibility experts, and project managers. We create user-centered innovative solutions that focus on improving educational and health outcomes through human centered design. I work directly with our team of developers at every step of the process to ensure feasibility of all designs.
I'm a multi-faceted designer, and my expertise spans across product design, visual design, brand strategy, and data visualization. My experience also includes human centered design, user research, and product manager.
Currently, I live in North Carolina and have been working remotely for the past 10 years. When I'm not designing, I love to spend my free time traveling around the globe.
